I have recently completed my Masters of Education in Instructional Design and Technology at the American College of Education. I have learned to create simulations and interactions designing effective and engaging courses.
I am currently teaching Photography, Graphic Design, Engineering Design and Problem Solving, and Introduction to Architecture & Interior Design at an advanced technology center in Keller, Texas. In all of these classes, we use technology and design software. I am always learning and searching for the newest and most efficient technology. I have used and taught my students Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, In Design, Illustrator, AdobeExpress, Firefly, Canva, Loom, Screen Castify, and Create Studio. I am currently using Canvas as my LMS but I also have experience building courses with Articulate 360 Suite.
I believe every learner has a different way of interpreting and understanding information, and I am determined to find the best ways to help them learn. I am a very determined and hard-working person. I tend to take on leadership roles, but am also excellent at collaborating in teams. Being naturally creative, outspoken, passionate and driven, I am a natural problem solver. I believe these qualities set me apart and help me stand out.
